Summary

Responsible for the preparation of the goods for shipment and providing leadership and direction to department employees

Responsibilities

Monitor scanning, receiving, and pricing all incoming freight being processed to insure it is being done correctly
Assist pricers and receivers with their daily duties
Ensure lines maintain a loaded status
Ensure all orders to be advertised are quickly processed
Provide training and counseling as needed to prevent receiving and pricing errors
Supervise and evaluate department personnel
Maintain company policies and procedures
Set an example for the department
Assist team members and help in other areas as directed by supervisor or management

Qualifications

Ability to lift up to 25 lbs.
Requires walking, standing, and bending
Consistent and reliable
Work a flexible schedule
Must be 18 years of age or older

Required Experience

Basic computer and office skills
Supervisor experience preferred

Required Education

High school diploma or equivalent preferred
