Summary
The Retail Maintenance position is responsible for construction, upkeep, and servicing of company's physical assets and projects.
Responsibilities
-
Will assist in the construction of new facilities, remodels, and upgrades of company facilities
-
Requires extensive travel 75% of the time, overnight stays, and weekends
-
General repair responsibilities (electrical, plumbing, etc.)
-
Install and repair chrome fixtures as needed (utilizing torch and brazing techniques)
-
Fixture purchases from other retailers-must travel to breakdown, palletize, and load on Hamrick's fleet trucks

Maintains shop area in a clean, neat, and secure safe condition

Maintain receipts and any paperwork for purchases

Perform other duties and help in other areas as assigned by management/supervisor
Qualifications
-
Knowledge of construction process and procedures
-
Basic carpentry skills required-to include, but not limited to framing, setting, and hanging doors, shelving, building walls, general cabinetry skills, operation of carpentry tools (table saw, radial arm saw, etc.)

Basic welding skills
-
Basic painting skills
-
Basic landscaping skills
Required Experience
-
5+ years experience in electrical and carpentry/construction
-
Have a valid driver's license and clean driving record
-
Ability to drive a forklift
-
Ability to constantly stand, bend, stoop, and lift up to 60 lbs.

Ability to travel overnight according to the demands of the position
